Key Responsibilities
The PMO Officer will:
- Support project planning, implementation and monitoring.
- Collect, validate and analyse project data for decision-making.
- Maintain project databases, dashboards and information management systems.
- Prepare project reports, presentations and analytical summaries.
- Support project budgets, financial monitoring and resource tracking.
- Assist with procurement processes, contracts and related documentation.
- Coordinate workshops, missions, meetings, travel and logistics.
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables, risks and implementation progress.
- Support monitoring and evaluation activities and performance reviews.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing, training and project management initiatives.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Economics, Civil or Construction Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- At least two years of relevant experience supporting infrastructure project management.
- Experience with financial information, reporting, procurement processes and administrative or logistical support.
- Fluent Spanish.
- Ability to analyse project information and prepare reports.
- Strong organizational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of project management, procurement, financial analysis and risk management.
A Master’s degree or professional project management certification is an advantage.
Experience preparing complex reports, working with UNOPS procedures or working within the United Nations system is also desirable.
