Responsibilities
The Senior Communications and Digital Engagement Officer will:
- Implement communications strategies for the BSRP II project.
- Develop digital content, newsletters, stories, multimedia materials and infographics.
- Manage project digital platforms and content calendars.
- Translate technical information into clear and accessible content.
- Develop social media strategies and campaigns for target audiences.
- Support communication for events, workshops and consultations.
- Prepare media releases, event briefs and other communication materials.
- Train partners and stakeholders on digital communication tools and standards.
- Monitor communication performance and stakeholder engagement.
- Prepare reports and document project success stories and lessons learned.
- Work with SPC teams to maintain consistent branding and messaging.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Marketing, International Development or a related field.
- At least five years of relevant experience in digital communications.
- Experience developing and managing digital content and communication campaigns.
- Strong social media strategy and audience engagement skills.
- Experience creating multimedia content, including design, video and photography.
- A portfolio demonstrating published communication work.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and within multicultural teams.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Knowledge of French will be an advantage.
Salary and Benefits
The position is classified as Band 9 on SPC’s 2026 salary scale, with a starting salary of 2,399 to 2,998 SDR per month.
Eligible internationally recruited staff may receive benefits including housing allowance, relocation support, airfares, home leave, insurance and education allowances. Staff are also entitled to annual leave and access to SPC’s Provident Fund.
