Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support the monitoring and reporting of projects funded through the Nigeria Humanitarian Fund.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and update project monitoring plans.
- Monitor NHF-funded projects and assess implementation progress.
- Verify reported results and compliance with grant agreements.
- Prepare monitoring reports and recommendations.
- Analyse monitoring data, surveys and assessments.
- Produce dashboards, funding snapshots and other analytical products.
- Maintain accurate project monitoring records in OneGMS.
- Contribute to annual reports, success stories and lessons learned.
- Support NHF allocation and project review processes.

Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A Master’s Degree or equivalent in Statistics, Political Science, Social Science, Development Studies, International Studies, Public Administration or a related field.
- A relevant Bachelor’s Degree with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted.
- At least two years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in humanitarian programming, crisis response or emergency relief.
- Experience within the UN Common System or a comparable international organization.
- Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation principles.
- Experience in data management, analysis and report writing.
- Knowledge of logical frameworks, workplans and monitoring plans.
Experience with donor-funded projects, pooled funds such as NHF or CERF, and humanitarian operations in Borno, Adamawa or Yobe will be an advantage.
Fluency in English is required, while knowledge of Hausa and/or Kanuri is required.
